Sound Following Nature
Bridging the gap between computational acoustics and the organic flow of human hearing.
What is Dimenwave?
Dimenwave is a technology company focused on developing innovative software and research for digital media. We create tools that make audio, playback, and interactive experiences more natural, immersive, and intuitive.
Our work combines software engineering with original research, exploring new ways to process, interpret, and present complex data. While our current focus is media technology, the principles behind our research have the potential to support future applications in fields such as medical imaging, engineering, and industrial analysis.
We believe great technology should simplify complexity, turning advanced science into experiences that feel effortless, meaningful, and true to the way we naturally perceive the world.
Mission Statement
"At Dimenwave, our mission is to redefine how people connect with sound and media. We believe technology should disappear into the background, leaving only the experience itself clear, powerful, and personal."
The Dimenwave Difference
At Dimenwave, we figured out methods to achieve true surround sound coming out from 2 speakers or headphones without the usual bottlenecks. Our proprietary technologies, DME (Difference Matrix Engine), VAST (Voxel Acoustic Spatial Transform) and TASS (Temporal Aligned Spatial System), allows us to do just that.
It goes even beyond just some fancy surround sound mechanism. Our tech allows normal stereo sound from your everyday content to be spatialized in a meaningful manner. In other words, access to true surround sound has become easier than ever!
DME
Difference Matrix Engine: The core computational layer that isolates harmonic impurities in real-time.
VAST
Voxel Acoustic Spatial Transform: Treating sound as a 3D physical object in a coordinate system.
TASS
Time Aligned Spatial System: Non-HRTF, stereo, binaural-like immersion without the need for multiple speakers.
The Future
We at Dimenwave plan to execute ideas that are practical, feasible and innovate to all those who choose us. From working with industrial standards to new refreshing ideas, we plan to innovate and contribute in a meaningful way.
In development is our ACT (Acoustical Certification Template) system which will come into play, literally.
The ACT System
verifiedThe ACT system introduces a dynamic framework for assessing audio playback – focusing on accuracy, consistency, and real-world listening conditions rather than theoretical perfection. ACT isn’t designed to impress listeners. It’s designed to remove excuses.
